Kitty was still frozen in place. The grip of Blutkuss on her shoulder wasn’t strong by any means, but for some reason, her sixth sense seemed to tell her that she wouldn’t survive an attempt to get away. She couldn’t put it into words, but there was something… unnatural on Blutkuss that made Kitty feel real fear.

Despite the ominous presence, Blutkuss spoke with a calm, almost pitying voice.
Sighing loudly, Blutkuss’ grip on Kitty’s shoulder became softer, up to the point, when Blutkuss began to let her hand slide over Kitty’s neck and down her upper body.
“You know…” She began “Here I thought that I gave you a fair chance to escape. Instead, you still headed for the office room and the documents I want.”
Despite that Blutkuss’ caress was soft and gentle, Kitty began to shake all over her body. It wasn’t because of the threat of imminent death alone. It was that Blutkuss had found her out with apparently no effort at all.
“H-how… How did you…?” Kitty stuttered.
“How did I know where you were you mean?” Blutkuss finished for Kitty.
“It’s easy. I noticed the smell of make-up removal on one of the shelves. When I saw that one of the numbers had been erased this way, I assumed that the thief would have already left, but when I smelled the same scent coming from one of the wardrobes, it became too obvious.”

A moment of silence came up, until Blutkuss’ caressing turned into a hug for Kitty. It felt weird for her. On one hand, she didn’t feel any ill intent from the hug, but on the other hand, Blutkuss alone still gave off something dangerous and deadly.
“Don’t get me wrong. You are good. However, I’m known as number one in the East. I’m just better.”

After another moment of silence, Blutkuss began to grab after the folder, she was looking for, still hold tight by Kitty’s trembling hands.
“How about I make you an offer?” Blutkuss began “You have some talent and it would be a shame to forget you. So how about you come to the “Bloody Mary”? You would probably make a fine dancer with some training.”

Exactly those words brought Kitty back to her senses. Not the meaning of a chance to get a job, but that Blutkuss just stroke against Kitty’s last thing that was her very own: Her pride
“I appreciate the offer…” Kitty began in a now focused voice “But I’m not a whore. I don’t sell my body or take something for free.”
Before Blutkuss could even react to the surprising response, Kitty threw first her head, than her elbows back, hitting Blutkuss on her forehead and on her sides, causing her to tumble backwards and on her back.
It wasn’t much, but a surprise like this gave Kitty enough time to put the folder into her back and to run towards the exit. Closing the door behind her with a smack, Kitty ran towards the entrance.

Blutkuss, who took her time to get up again, partly because Kitty had actually hit her pretty well, partly because she began to take a liking for the still unknown woman, licked over her lips and put a wide grin on.
“Well… seems that this job has at least one good thing after all.” She mumbled to herself.
“I don’t know who you are, but once I got you, I will take aaaaaaaaaall the time I need to learn everything about you… my stray kitten!”

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kitty was currently running down the staircase towards the entrance. Still looking behind her frequently, expecting Blutkuss to appear right behind her at any moment, Kitty didn’t saw the strange black pool building up at the end of the staircase.  She only realized it, when a black figure began to rise out of the black oozing mass, mostly looking human-like, but with long and sharp claws for arms.

She only realized it at the very last second that her enemy actually somehow appeared in front of her, using whatever-the-hell kind of device or trick. Mustering up every bit of strength she had, Kitty jumped over the black, human-shaped mass and with that, barely dodging a horizontal attack from both claws.
Sensing that the danger wasn’t gone yet, Kitty’s sixth sense suggested that she should simply lie down on the ground, once she jumped over the black mass, in order to dodge another slash or simply roll around, in case the black mass would attack her on the ground.

Picking up confidence, as she realized that her sixth sense had saved her from being killed, when the black mass grew another pair of claws out of its backside, Kitty continued to roll towards the hole in the wall, caused by the slash attack. Only as she leaped through, Kitty realized with what kind of threat she was actually dealing with. Gulping down any doubts and thoughts on surrendering, Kitty ran towards the wall, from where she had crossed the fence. There was simply no way that she would get out alive with an apology and the documents, so she thought that she could as well continued to run.

Blutkuss, who casually opened the front door and calmly walked after Kitty, smiled maliciously, when she saw her prey running towards a dead end. From her point of view, she would either be trying to climb over the wall by using the brush as some sort of aid or she would have prepared something else, hiding in the brush.
For now, Blutkuss simply wanted to let the game continue for a while.
As soon as Kitty came close to the fence, she considered the only option to be running towards the wall and then jumping in order to grab the edge of the fence.
The jump in itself was closer than she wanted to it be. Only with her fingertips, she managed to grab the top of the fence, but smacked with full force against it. Clenching her teeth in pain, Kitty knew that she had no time to catch a breath or the time to let the pain pass by.
The only thing she could do now was to focus all stamina and strength and pull herself up.
Blutkuss, who closed the distance almost entirely, slowed down more and watched Kitty’s struggling. In all honesty, she was actually more and more fascinated by her. She had dodged two lethal attacks so far. Along with her personality, as well as the strength, she seemed to possess, Blutkuss couldn’t help herself. She wanted her. She wanted her stray kitten.

Kitty didn’t look back.
She didn’t give herself the time for that, nor for catching her breath. Her life was on the line and every bit of wasting time could turn out to be too much.
As soon as she had pulled herself up, she leaped from the top of the fence on to the ground.
Only now, she spent one moment to look back… and instantly regret it.

As soon as she looked back, she saw the same black figure leaning against the fence, which had attacked her inside of the mansion, this time only in a perfect human shape. Kitty’s surprise got even bigger, when the black figure began to talk like Blutkuss with an only slightly distorted voice.
“Have to admit…” The shadowy figure said. “You’re an interesting one… Say, if you don’t take gifts, how about we make a little deal? If you manage to keep me entertained for a while, I promise to reward you.”

“I already told you…” Kitty said slightly annoyed “I’m not going to sell my body. I’d rather die, before I end up as whore like you.”

“Oh, now you hurt me…” The figure replied with a sarcastic tone “You see what my real job is. Working as dancer is more of a hobby.”
While the shadowy figure was talking, Kitty rubbed her eyes several times. At first glance, she couldn’t say if she was tired or going crazy, but for her, the shadowy figure was changing. With each passing second, the shadowy figure began to change colors. No… it was more accurate to say that the shadow was dissolving, revealing the one it was coating.
What Kitty saw, seemed to be illogical or impossible and yet, in hindsight of what Kitty has seen since she had entered the mansion, it just fit perfectly. Whether Blutkuss was slowly switching places with the shadowy figure or the shadowy figure had been Blutkuss from the very beginning, it didn’t change the fact that Blutkuss was now standing in front of Kitty again.

“The offer stands…” Blutkuss said “Keep me entertained and I promise to take care of you and without you having to worry about selling your body, I promise.”
Blutkuss snapped with her fingers and her shadow seemed to crawl up her body and over her left arm, cloaking it with a pitch-black layer. In the next moment, the black arm began to change shape. The lower arm extended, becoming twice as long as before and the fingers turned into twisted barbed claws, each of them as long as her still normal upper arm.
“Now then, ready or not, here I come!”

Kitty cursed silently to herself, when the realization dawned in her.
There wasn’t really any way for her to escape, if the one chasing her could pass obstacles so easily.
So she had to fight her…
While Kitty saw herself low on options, she grabbed after the handle of her flashlight.

She had no intention of dying without a proper fight.
A little shorter part this time.

However, in return, I'll increase the amount of uploads over the holidays.
So it will be not much this time, but more parts from tomorrow on. ^^

I'm beginning to wonder if there is any deeper reason for Blutkuss' interest in Kitty other than her skills.
Even if not the action reads nicely :D.
